Favorite. Post. Ever.
My first reaction to this is, "PRAISE GOD!!!" My second reaction is, "She posted this at midnight on the last night of childless sleep... WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER????" LOL Gosh guys, the fun is really about to begin. I can't begin to tell you what's coming your way today... but your lives are going to change forever.Parenthood is incredible. The responsibility of raising another human is something that will make you a better person, but will change how you view the world. Things that never used to phase you or bother you will infuriate you and make you question things about our society. Just know that God choose you guys to raise this little man, and do the best that you can. He's going to be so loved and cherished, and above all, raised by two people who have been waiting for him their whole lives. What a miracle. You might want to start blogging all your thoughts and feelings... especially if writing is your outlet. You'll be glad to have documentation of your feelings during these next few CRAZY months.Cherish every second. They REALLY do go by too quickly! I can vividly remember feeling like I was going to throw up and not be able to stand when we pulled up to the hospital and went inside to meet Gus for the first time. And now he's going to turn 18 months tomorrow. I constantly ask, "Where has the time gone???" Enjoy every wonderful, magnificent, moment that God has in store for you!!
Congratulations, you two! Bursting with happiness for you guys. Love and hugs.
I am THRILLED for you! Looking so forward to 'meeting' this precious one and reading about your journey! Soak up those beginning precious moments.
Congrats! Praying everything goes smoothly today and praying for Gods peace and comfort for birthmom! Enjoy every minute with your new little man!
